Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stackshift.work and any inquiry or suitability review request submitted through this website.

By using this website or submitting a suitability review request, you agree to these Terms.

Services

StackShift provides fixed-scope website migration services, including assessment, planning, migration execution, validation, and handover support for eligible professional services websites.

The specific services, deliverables, timeline, fees, acceptance criteria, and exclusions for any paid engagement will be defined in a separate written proposal, statement of work, or agreement.

Suitability reviews

Submitting the suitability review form does not create a client relationship, contract, or obligation for StackShift to perform migration services.

StackShift may accept, decline, request additional information, or recommend an alternative approach based on its technical review and available capacity.

Client responsibilities

For any engagement, the client is responsible for providing:

  • Timely access to required environments, DNS settings, hosting accounts, and third-party services.
  • Accurate information regarding the website, content, integrations, and operational requirements.
  • Prompt decisions, feedback, and approvals.
  • Any third-party licenses, credentials, or permissions required to complete the agreed scope.

Delays caused by unavailable access, missing approvals, third-party dependencies, or incomplete client information may affect the delivery schedule.

Fees and payment

Fees, payment schedule, and refund terms for a paid engagement will be stated in the applicable written proposal or agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work begins only after scope approval, receipt of required access, and payment or authorization as specified in the engagement document.

Intellectual property

The client retains ownership of its website content, trademarks, and business materials provided to StackShift.

StackShift retains ownership of its pre-existing methodologies, templates, internal tooling, documentation frameworks, and general know-how used to deliver services.

Upon full payment, the client receives the rights to the specific deliverables identified in the applicable engagement document.

Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep non-public business, technical, and operational information received from the other party confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to provide the agreed services.

No guarantees

StackShift does not guarantee:

  • Specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or conversion rates.
  • Absolute website uptime or uninterrupted service.
  • Complete immunity from security incidents, software vulnerabilities, or third-party service failures.
  • Compatibility with every legacy platform, plugin, integration, or hosting configuration.

Migration outcomes depend on the condition of the source website, third-party dependencies, client cooperation, and factors outside StackShift’s control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackShift’s total liability arising from or relating to the services or these Terms is limited to the fees actually paid by the client to StackShift for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

StackShift is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost leads, business interruption, or data loss, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the applicable written agreement. If no written agreement applies, either party may discontinue use of this website at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates the most recent revision.
